Her faith is in tatters, and she guards her heart against the baby's uncle, handsome cowboy, Bragg Martin. It's the season for forgiveness, and while Bragg longs to open his heart and family to the lovely nanny, he doesn't understand her interest in his arch enemy. Saving a man's life and saving Tiffany's faith bring the couple togetherā€¦and home to Hearts Crossing Ranch.

Excerpt:

Tiffany got up for another cup of coffee, Mattyā€™s eyes watching her every move.
ā€œHe sure notices you,ā€ Bragg remarked as the baby drained the bottle.
ā€œYeah. We bonded right off. Iā€™m so glad about it.ā€ As sheā€™d made a snap decision just then, she rushed on. ā€œI left behind my precious nephew. I guess in my psyche somewhere I figured maybe nanny to Matty might help ease that hole in my heart.ā€  Gently she rubbed her hand over Mattyā€™s head, the edge of her hand tugging at Braggā€™s shirt and causing a funny havoc. Mostly though he listened to her pain.
She sank back down into a kitchen chair, resting her cheek in her hand. ā€œI was with Connor from the moment he was born. Paul and Diana wanted me there. Then things went haywire. It was my fault. You talk about forgiveness, but there isnā€™t any in this case. And I miss that little boy. Oh, I miss him so. I need him. His love was unconditional, you know. Heā€™s three now. I canā€™t let him forget me.ā€
Braggā€™s heart tugged at the agony on her face, and Mattyā€™s little hand flailed. Tiffany took it at once. ā€œIt canā€™t be that bad, can it?ā€

ā€œIā€™ve been disowned, so, yeah, Bragg. Itā€™s that bad.ā€

Phooey Kerflooey: Three Kids And A Puppy vs The Squirrel Of The Apocalypse by Kristen Joy Wilkes

Kristen says "Once upon a time, our family of three young boys welcomed a princess into our home. A furry princess, a princess who ended up weighing more than they did, was terrified of haybales and bags of chicken feed, and refused to drink out of anything but her own special mug. Our boys were charmed by their puppy princess and asked that I write a story based on her. It took me seven years, but finally I present to you  Phooey Kerflooey ! While our own boys delighted in Princess Leia Freyjaā€™s scaredy-cat antics and princess ways, the boys in the story take a bit longer to appreciate Phooeyā€™s gifts. However, I pray that you will enjoy their journey together as they battle the squirrel of the apocalypse and search for perfect peace amidst a storm of chaos. " And I loved this one. It's gone straight back into the TBR pile. A puppy will fix everything.  A boring new house?  Boring house + puppy = adventure!    An attacking squirrel?  Evil squirrel + puppy =...
