Back cover Blurb:

Cassidy Cooper never wanted to set foot in Crystal Falls again. Ten years ago, she gave her heart to a boy who, in turn, humiliated her deeply. Now, back in town as the sole beneficiary of her sisterā€™s estate, sheā€™s determined to make her sisterā€™s dream of an upscale chocolate truffle shop, come true.

Hunter Gray is intrigued by his new neighbor. His escape artist cow, Marigold, engineers an introductionā€¦but itā€™s not quite the first impression heā€™s hoping for. Baffled by the nagging suspicion heā€™s seen this woman before, he plots to win Cassidyā€™s heart at every opportunity.

With the object of her unrequited love living within shouting distance, Cassidy prays for strength to forgive and forget. And Hunter? He just wants to get back to his own dream to grow his farm and get to know the pretty girl next door. If sheā€™ll let him.

Excerpt:

Hunter draped an arm over Cassidyā€™s shoulder and drew her close. He whispered in her ear. ā€œYou are most certainly invited back anytime.ā€

For the brief time heā€™d clasped her fingers in the restaurant, sheā€™d loved the feel of her hand in his. And now this? She longed to lean into him and snuggle closer, but heā€™d hurt her deeply ten years ago, whether he realized it or not. It hung there between them. If she opened up to him, the embarrassment would be more than she could bear. Such a big deal back then. Now, she was a different person, and so was he.

Cassidy glanced up into Hunterā€™s dark, soulful eyes. He was staring at her with a full-blown smile on his face. His gaze fell to her mouth. She pulled back, leaned on the fence, and dipped her head. Her chest rose and fell as she inhaled farm life in all its glory. She was falling for this man all over again. And it hurt to fall. Her heart still beat black and blue.

Phooey Kerflooey: Three Kids And A Puppy vs The Squirrel Of The Apocalypse by Kristen Joy Wilkes

Kristen says "Once upon a time, our family of three young boys welcomed a princess into our home. A furry princess, a princess who ended up weighing more than they did, was terrified of haybales and bags of chicken feed, and refused to drink out of anything but her own special mug. Our boys were charmed by their puppy princess and asked that I write a story based on her. It took me seven years, but finally I present to you  Phooey Kerflooey ! While our own boys delighted in Princess Leia Freyjaā€™s scaredy-cat antics and princess ways, the boys in the story take a bit longer to appreciate Phooeyā€™s gifts. However, I pray that you will enjoy their journey together as they battle the squirrel of the apocalypse and search for perfect peace amidst a storm of chaos. " And I loved this one. It's gone straight back into the TBR pile. A puppy will fix everything.  A boring new house?  Boring house + puppy = adventure!    An attacking squirrel?  Evil squirrel + puppy =...
