New release & review - Deadly Chase by Wendy Davy

Deadly Chase

Sierra Malone trusted the wrong man and now he's trying to kill her. After narrowly escaping Kevin Eason's brutal attack, Sierra leaves her home, her family, and everything familiar. She finds temporary shelter, but it provides little relief from her constant fear. Desperate and alone, she considers an offer of protection from a stranger--but she soon learns he's harboring a potentially deadly secret. Chase Price wants Eason behind bars, and he's willing to do anything to get him there, even if it means waiting for Eason to strike again. With an innocent life on the line, Chase sets out to finish this battle once and for all--but he soon learns guarding Eason's beautiful victim leaves him wanting much more than he anticipated.

Review:
In a spine-tingling tale that pulls the reader in and doesn't leave them wanting, Ms. Davy keeps you on the edge of your seat in her newest release. It shows both sides of love and protection. She doesn't hide the evil side of some relationships, rather faces the issue head on and shines a light on a subject normally left hidden. 5/5

Stranded

When wildlife photographer Savannah Matthews takes an unexpected detour off of Belize’s scenic coast and becomes stranded on a lush, tropical island, she senses she’s about to encounter something wild and dangerous—something from a long ago, forgotten past. What she does find, will change her life forever. Scarred both physically and emotionally, Grant Duncan guards his privacy. Those who dare set foot on his private island come face-to-face with his fierce determination, and long-handled spear. But, when Savannah arrives, she challenges him like no other. Will Savannah break through Grant’s barriers, and convince him God still has a plan for his life?

Review:
I love this one. Where else can you get pure, gripping entertainment with a happy ending for $1 or under £1. Ms. Davy has combined faith, drama, intriguing 3D characters and an island paradise in a whirlwind page turner. A short story, only 41 pages, it loses nothing in the telling and leaves the reader with a warm satisfied feeling. 5/5
