This weekend just gone was a hectic, but Wonderful, Fun Filled Time with Family and Friends. Because 50 years ago on March 28th 1964 This Happened.
Saturday looked like this:
The house was full of streamers, balloons, sparkly bits on the table - which Mum will be hoovering up for months no doubt. And approx 50 guests. It was FUN. And there was a time line of stuff that happened over the past 50 years as well.
And then four years ago yesterday I signed my first contract with Pelican Books. And never looked back. I don't write for anyone else, don't intend to write for anyone else.
That first book was this one -
